What is IFTTT?

Technology is great at taking over the repetitive tasks we do every day, and there is something special when things just happen.

IFTTT was created to provide us with an easy way of connecting our favourite Apps and Devices. By creating “Applets” you can setup a trigger (I arrive Home) and a series of actions that will take place automatically.

Connecting the Heatmiser & BMW Channels means your BMW can communicate with your Neo & SmartStat.

How can I use the Heatmiser & BMW IFTTT Channels?

Your BMW can send location based triggers to Heatmiser based on when your arrive or leave a specific location.

Some great examples are;

Triggers:

  1. When I LEAVE home
 Actions:

  1. Set AWAY on the Neo System
  2. Turn the neoPlug Lights Off
Triggers:

  1. When I RETURN home
 Actions

  1. Cancel AWAY on the Neo System
  2. Turn ON the neoPlug Table Light
  3. Boost the Heating to 20C
  4. Boost the Hot Water for 1 Hour
