Job Summary
Heatmiser is a leading heating controls manufacturer in the U.K. Daily we talk to many customers including plumbers, electricians plus end users. With the continual growth of our company we are looking for Technical Support Agents to handle phone support requests from our clients. You will be responsible for walking customers through the process of achieving their goal with our equipment and determine if the problem relates to installation, user error or something else entirely. The Technical Support Agent will also be responsible for communicating with our design team about suspected firmware or app related problems. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves a challenge and would like to learn something new!

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Communicate with our clients via incoming phone calls and email.
  • Walk through and advise customer with installation queries on our product line.
  • Help customers troubleshoot issues they encounter while installing/using the equipment and provide actionable tips to resolve the problem.
  • Send technical documentation to customers who have misplaced theirs.
  • Refer difficult cases to senior support or the design team.
  • Pre-Sales advice to help customers choose the right product.

Qualifications And Skills

  • GCSEs or equivalent including English
  • PC literate including Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Good knowledge of smart devices including Android and IOS
  • 1-year minimum experience in customer services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Heating systems and electrical installation is an advantage but not essential.
  • Full training on our products will be provided.
